Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that such a blood pressure value doesn't seem to be normal at your age.

Nevertheless, an increased BP value may be quite a normal reaction in situations of increased stress, coffee or other caffeine drinks.

So, I would recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values during the day in the next week (in sitting position after 10 minutes of total relax ) and refer them to your doctor.

Meanwhile I would advise you to reduce salt and caffeine intake.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
