Question : my 90 yr old aun t has had pain in her mouth area and her pressure is 186 over 76. She has been diagnosed rrecently with a-fib. is there any correlation between the two things

I read your query and understood your concerns.

Apparently there is no direct link between mouth pain and atrial fibrillation.

However all the efforts should be done to lower her BP below 140/90 mmHg and to stabilise her HR. Moreover she should start anticoagulation therapy (xarelto) to prevent future events especially stroke.
