Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I would explain that your blood pressure values are really high.

I would recommend taking your blood pressure medicine as soon as possible and have some rest, avoid physical activity in the next hours and closely monitor your blood pressure in the next hours.

If your blood pressure is still high, or you have a severe headache, nausea or dizziness, I recommend going to ER for a physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- a chest x-ray study
- some blood lab tests ( complete blood count, blood electrolytes, fasting glucose, kidney and liver function tests).

If your blood pressure goes down with your daily medicine, this situation can wait until you consult with your attending physician and perform the above mentioned tests.

Some changes in your antihypertensive therapy may be necessary to have a better control of your blood pressure.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
