Brief Answer:
Yes will be detected after 2 years if infected.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.

HIV antibodies will be usually formed between 2 weeks to 3 months after exposure to HIV virus.
Once formed will be present for life.
So antibodies will be detected even after 2 years exposure ( if exposed to HIV).
If the test is negative , you are free from HIV from that exposure.

You can get back for any clarification.

I get patches on my toungue that take the surface of the toungue of and after a week or so it goes back and thwn another part will do it . Were i have read oral thrush you would get it on other parts of the mouth as well as the toungue . I know i have tested negative but i think a bit of paranoia is taking hold also

Brief Answer:
Not due to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

I have gone through the photos.
It appears to be due to geographic tongue or apthous ulcers. It does not appear to be due to candidiasis.
I would have advised:
Relive both physical and mental stress.
Take vitamin B complex supplements.
Can apply local anesthetic gel if pain.
Oral hygiene
Regular use of mouth wash.

This is not due to HIV.
