Brief Answer:
Depends on clinical condition

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

I have seen the reports and it shows Leucocytosis(27020)with neutrophil predominance (66%).
C reactive protein is also raised. All these suggest some kind of bacterial infection.

The admission criteria depends mainly on the clinical condition of the baby.

Please provide me clinical details like if there is any history of persistent high grade fever, cough, cold or breathing difficulty; any abdominal distension, vomiting or loose stool.

If baby is active, accepting feeds well and there are no significant symptoms; we can give her home care with oral antibiotics and repeat sepsis profile.

So please provide me the details so that I better able to help you out. Also I would like to get serum Procalcitonin (more specific marker of bacterial infection) and blood culture/sensitivity (for choosing the antibiotic ) done.

Thanks and regards
