Question : I have had one blister (1cm)on the shaft of penis, below the head, for 2 weeks. I have had the same partner for 1 year, but mistakenly I had an unprotected BJ 3 weeks ago. In my mind I got the sore from too aggressive sex 2 weeks ago as I got sore during the act and felt it very good the next day. However, it could look like a herpes blister and itching a bit, but I can't see anything else on my penis that is not normal. Could it be just a friction as I thought initially or Herpes through oral as I'm more and more afraid of?

Brief Answer:
Frictional

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your query.

Herpes causes multiple blisters in 2 weeks duration and it takes a minimum of 5 days to develop since exposure. The blisters are usually painless and do not itch.

Frictional sores are developed very early, as in your case the next day.

Need not worry, I am sure it cant be herpes.

Apply antibacterial ointments, like broad spectrum Povidone Iodine ointment. This helps in healing as the sore appears to be infected with minor bacteria as it is persistent since 2 weeks.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Thanks for your calming reply.
Now it seems to come a little "white ish fluid" ftom the sore, and the skin is a bit light around the sore as well. Any thoughts on this ? I will get some anti bacteria tomorrow ..

Brief Answer:
Infected sore

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

Discharge and discoloration could be signs of progression in the infection.

Apply the antibacterial at the earliest to treat the same.
