Question : My 17 month old hit her head fairly badly on her crib. Should I be concerned about a concussion? She cried for about 10 minutes and then fell asleep.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. From your history, there was no vomiting, unconsciousness or convulsion following the head injury. It is a good sign. But still as she is too young to specifically tell about her problem and it was a head injury, I would definitely suggest consultation with a physician or a pediatrician as soon as possible to rule out possible consequences of head injury. Apply ice locally till then and look for the symptoms mentioned above.
