Thanks for posting your query.

Yes, the fever is considered high for any age.

Please give him medicines for fever on regular basis.
Give him plenty of fluids to drink
Light diet
You can even to tepid sponging if fever does not go down.

The fever should respond and start decreasing in about an hour after giving fever medications.

Please consult your doctor if fever does not respond and come frequently.
