Question: I begin entyvio injections next week, is it safe to receive a flu shot tomorrow?
Also, do the injections cure UC or temporarily relieve the symptoms for 60 day periods requiring lifelong injections?

Hi Sir,
Thanks for posting on this forum.
Till date TNF alpha was the main stay for treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. The introduction of a new, highly selective class of medication that targets a different pathway from TNF-α inhibitors and other more traditional agents is a promising next step towards being able to successfully medically manage an even greater proportion of patients with IBD.

No these injection won't cure IBD but yes it would provide you with immediate relief for symptom.During trials it has shown very promising effects of patients.
Thought its not a cure but you can say that its near cure.
