Brief Answer:
Could be due to minor bleeding and infection but should be examined first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

Large blood blister after needle biopsy could be due to minor bleeding and infection but it should be clinically examined before the arrival any conclusion.

So,it would be better to if you can provide me clinical picture of that blood blister.

Also let me know when you had undergone needle biopsy?
Is the biopsy site painful or tender to touch?

Usually it can be managed well with helps of antibiotics and other symptomatic medications with cold compression,so there is NO need to get alarmed but it is always better to be concerned here.

You may need to see your operating doctor who may prescribe you appropriate treatment after careful clinical examination of the blister.
