Question : hi dr. I am 25 weeks pregnant today. And on my regular visit to dr. she told me on examination that the baby's geowth is corresponding to 26-27 weeks. And said that it is fine. But I wanted to know is it ok? And what does it indicate?
Brief Answer:
It is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
It is completely normal to have a uterine size of 26 weeks at 25 weeks of gestation.
This is so because the uterine height is clinically measured in even number of weeks, and hence the growth of 26 weeks is appropriate for 25 weeks.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
