I read your question and i understand your concern. I am afraid firmagon is an only brand for degarelix in market approved by FDA and recommended by doctors in United states. Talk to your oncologist who prescribed and let them look out any alternative brand available for you. Last time i checked there wasn't any in US. Except for slight hypertension as a side effect none is related to heart. That too reported in very less patients. Hot flashes and injection site abscess and erythema is commonest.
