Question : Hello - i am a 25 year old male. this morning I went to planned parenthood to have them look at what I believed to be molluscum (which it was and they treated). During the treatment, she pointed out a mole that I have had for roughly 10+ years about 1.5in above my penis, measuring about 3-5 milameters in width, and said it may be a genital wart. I am freaking out. it's been there for as long as I can remember, never grown in size, never spread, never changed from a red mole color. I have had 2 very long term relationships and neither of them developed genital warts. could it be a genital wart?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Genital wart is a possibility of the lesion is mimicking a mole. Sometimes, the genital warts do not grow in size and remain dormant.
However, the chances of wart are low as you have no such history in your partners.
Still, it is advisable to confirm the diagnosis by a biopsy , as treatment is available.
