Question : A few months ago, I tripped and fell on concrete, hitting my head just above the eyebrow. When feeling both eyebrows, the one I hit feels like there is a lump - but no pain when touching. However, from time to time there is a jolt of pain, and then when I rub it, it is slightly itchy. Then it goes away. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
As explained below...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Since there was a black eye, means there was a hematoma which usually resolves.
The small painless lump can be a scar or remains of hematoma.
The pain that comes and goes is usually due to nerve entrapment in the scar.
So not to worry much.
Surely getting an actual examination by a Doctor confirms the diagnosis.
I hope this answers your query.
