Question : I am 80 my blood pressure is 137 over 76 am on predisone but have pulse rate of 137?

Mehtlprednisolone is a potent corticosteroid which increases blood pressure and cause tachycardia. Tachycardia is found among people who take Prednisone, especially for people who are female, 60+ old , have been taking the drug for < 1 month,
Kindly mention the doses of prednisolone you are on.

40 mg in a day is very high dose of prednisolone.
please meet your primary and ask him to reduce doses.
