Question : Hi, I have arresting heart beat of about 60 Bpm. What is the Bpm during fever? Is it much higher? I am male and 40 years old. I have had a virus and taking a long time to recover, 3 weeks +

thanks for the query. we usually see the heart rate increase by 10 beats per minute for every degree of fever above normal temperature.

Thank you. For eg now my heart rate is 54. If i had a fever this would be higher yes? Does fever come and go? Or is it consistent?

Fever typically comes and goes especially if you use medication such as Tylenol. i would expect a higher heart rate yes if you had a fever.
