Question : I was treated a while back for a Klebsiella p infection that was in the bladder. after sevreral months the infection was treated with iv meds and was cleared up. However i was left with pain that goes around the abdominal area and spreads over to the hip and pelvic bone area. I have had several tests that include mri ct scan and a colonoscopy all negtative. Brief Answer: Urinary tract infection Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for the query The pain you have described does not indicate that of a urinary tract infection. I would like to know a few more details in order to come to a better conclusion 1. What is the type of pain? sharp, dull, continuous or intermittent ? 2. Any relation to the bowel movements ? 3. Any burning while passing urine? 4 . where in the abdominal exactly is the pain? lower abdomen ( below the umbilicus ), to the right or left? 5. any fever? Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply Regards
