Brief Answer:
Acute gastroenteritis due to viral cause.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The reconstruction would not help in reducing the duration of illness. Give him ORS (oral rehydration solution) to drink. Give Syr. Zinconia (zinc supplement) once daily. Give some prebiotics like Econorm.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
