If you have missed your period and you are sexually active without contraception then , yes, you can be pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. Pregnancy tests detect HCG hormone. Most tests detect the urine levels of this hormone.

It is normally detectable by day 11 to 14 after conception. If this time has passed, you can consider a home urine pregnancy test
