Brief Answer:
it is a dangerous organism

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic .

Acenatobacter baumanii is quite dangerous organism in the sense it doesn't do too much harm to body but it is difficult to treat as it has many things in it which protects it from death easily.

Its not exactly a serious situation. But this organism is usually resistant to many antibiotics. So you need to take the antibiotics to which it is sensitive which would be given in the culture report.

This is a treatable condition so don't worry. By proper antibiotics this organism can be removed from body. Since it occurs more in immune compromised people I suggest you to get yourself examined for that.

Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.
