Question : I started on prescribed Femilon on the 1st day of my period on Wednesday, 30 March. I have commenced/ restarted Femilon for the first cycle, after last taken in XXXXXXX 2018. After gap of 2 months. I have taken it for 6 days now, tonight would be 7th pill. However, I read the leaflet only today that one needs to use extra protection for the 1st week, which I missed, and I don't remember the consulting doctor mention it . Please advice if I additionally need to take any other medication if I had unprotected sex today ( day 6, week 1 of starting the prescribed pill), and want to ensure contraception. Thank you so much.
