Question: I am on Wellbutrin and .25 milligrams of Xanax every morning and .5 at night to quit smoking. I am going to dinner with my parents tomorrow night will it be safe to have a glass of wine?

One glass of wine mixed with Xanax 0.25mg in the AM plus 0.5mg at night should be safe. Be advised that alcohol plus Xanax can caused increased sedation, increased drunkenness, and worsen a hangover. Additionally, alcohol in large quantities mixed with Wellbutrin creates a risk of seizure. But one glass of wine should be safe.
