Question : mY HUSBAND HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED FLEXERIL FOR PAIN. I DO NOT THIINK HE SHOULD HAVE ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE ON THS MEDICATION. HE DISAGREES. WHAT ARE THE RISKS?

I would advise your husband that the interaction with alcohol would cause the medication to linger longer in the body as its metabolism and breakdown and washout may be hindered by the alcohol.
