Question : I recently had a blood test done because ive been having really bad anxiety and wanted to make sure nothing else was causing it.
I had a positive ana at the 1:40 titer with homogenious pattern.
I dont have any symptoms of auto immune diseases. My question is should i investigate this with further testing with a rheumatologist? I read that many people can test positive at 1:40 and that homogenous pattern is the least concerning pattern. I really dont want to go to anymore doctors visits and just focus on getting my anxiety down.

Brief Answer:
Not significant
Detailed Answer:
hi
since you don't have any symptoms suggesting lupus,i don't think you need to follow this further.
as the titer is very low and can be positive as a false positive.
I agree that anxiety is an issue and you should focus on bringing it down.
visiting a rheumatologist will not add any more information.
regards.
