Rheumatic fever occurs due to streptococcus infection to heart and other manifestations in joints and other parts.
Usually rheumatic fever is seen in children but it can sometime occur in older age group also.
I had some questions about your condition-
1. How was it diagnosed to be rheumatic fever? Only based on ASO titres and CRP?
2. Was a cardiac evaluation done in form of 2D ECHO? If yes what are the findings?
3. Do you have any other symptoms other than fever?
4. How frequently and since when are you taking antibiotics? Which one and how much?
