You should wait few days before to get epidural injection for herniated disc.

This for two reasons:

1. to give time the prednisolone to leave your system

2. to see if any significant improvement.

If significant improvement of symptoms after few days, epidural injections may be saved for a latter time, if the symptoms aggravate.
