Is An Internal Bleeding Possible Despite No Signs Of Concussion After A Head Injury?

Question: I fell off a raft when I went for river rafting and hit my head on the rock. Its been two weeks already. There wasn't any signs of concussion or anything. Do you think there might be internal bleeding? Also, only when I apply pressure at the area, I feel very small pain. Is that normal?

Brief Answer:
Internal bleed seems unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Since it has been two weeks and you seem fine, chances of internal bleed are unlikely.

Local pain at site of injury is normal and persistence of such pain doesn't mean internal injury.

Do consider a primary clinical evaluation by neurologist. This will relieve your concerns further.

Hope this helps.Regards.
