Is An Itchy Pimple On Breast Symptom Of Breast Cancer?

Question : I am a 62 year old male.....in generally decent health. I have type 2 diabetes for about 6 years, but is pretty well controlled ( last a1c was 6.0 ). I have a small pimple on the nipple of my left breast and am concerned this could be breast cancer ( my sister died of the disease at 33 years old ). there appear to be no lumps upon self exam but some itchiness for the last several days. the pimple has been present for some time ( I'm guessing months ) any advice?

I do not know for sure what this is unless I some more information. Breast cancer develops from breast tissue. A pimple originates from the skin and subcutaneous tissue and not the breast. Because it does not originate from breast tissue itself, labeling it a possible breast cancer would be unlikely. What I am certain of is an abnormality located on the breast and not from the breast tissue itself.
