Is Beta-hCG Level Of 11.08 A Cause For Concern?

Question: Hi, My doctor told to do follicular study and i had hcg shot. After that my egg got ruptered on 26/10. I didnt get my periods also.Today i am on my 34 th day.I had negative HPT. in serum B hcg test,i had 11.08 mIU/mL. What does it mean?i am pregnant or not.And also i have pcod.
Brief Answer:
Repeat Serum beta hCG blood test after four days
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about possibility of pregnancy.
11.08 is slightly lower to be considered for pregnancy.
It is not even negative as negative value is generally below 5.
I suggest you repeat beta hCG blood test after four days to confirm pregnancy status. Pregnancy will be confirmed only if serum beta hCG blood test shows doubling every 48 hours.
Till then it is difficult to say you are not pregnant.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards
