Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry about!

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern, I would like to explain that your blood pressure values are within the normal ranges.

You don't have anything to worry about!

It is normal to have a lower blood pressure during the night (as the sympathetic nervous system is atteuated)

So a 109/69 mmHg value coupled with lightheaded is considered normal when you wake up in the middle of the night (as some orthostatic intolerance may be present during that period).

Try to perform more gentle and gradual standing when starting from bed.

As blood pressure is a very dynamic parameter, an isolated 147/69 mmHg value shuld not be considered a matter of concern.

Every normal individual will experience the above mentioned BP values during his life.

To have a better view of the average BP trends, a close BP monitoring for a couple of days is recommended (several BP measurements during the day).

Hope to have been helpful to you!

You are welcome!

Detailed Answer:

seems that the main health clue for you is elsewhere (Hashimoto). You need to be in close contact with your endocrinologist, and try to find a balance for your thyroid glands function.

Wish you a good health! Dr. Iliri
