Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to a relatively low blood pressure compared to your mean blood pressure values.

Your actual blood pressure values are not too low, but your brain is accustomed to higher blood pressure values which lead to a higher blood perfusion to the brain.

The dizziness and lightheadedness would be explained by the reduced blood flow to the brain, caused by the decrease in blood pressure values.

But the situation is not really concerning.

I would recommend having some rest and taking plenty of fluids to remain well hydrated.

A coffee would help too.

Are you currently taking any anti-hypertensive drugs? They could lead to these symptoms.

I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure in the next days. If you are taking anti-hypertensive drugs and your blood pressure keep being low, you may need to reduce the doses of your current therapy.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

I remain at your disposal whenever you have any other questions!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
