Brief Answer:
No need to worry much.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.

There is no need of such tension.Hypertension is very common and very easily treatable condition.

Before that,we have to confirm the diagnosis by taking blood pressure on two different days.It should be measured after 10-15 minutes of sitting quietly, and mind should be relaxed. If both readings shows systolic BP more than 140 or diastolic BP more than 100,we need antihypertensive treatment after excluding any causes of secondary hypertension.Your doctor will guide you in this.Kindly avoid self medication,as antihypertensives are to be taken regularly under medical followup if indicated. There is no role for SOS based treatment.

Meanwhile, you start appropriate life style modifications-try to have regular moderate exercise for 30-40 minutes daily if possible.Reduce the proportion of non veg and increase the amount of green leafy veges and fruits in your diet.Reduce the amount of salt intake.

Hope this will answer your query.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
