Brief Answer:
Give food rich in proteins and fat

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to this forum. Can understand your concerns.

Weight of 1 year and 6 month old child should be around 10.5 kg. Breast milk only is not sufficient for baby at this age. After 6 months of age, complementary feeding should be started because milk alone cannot provide sufficient calories 2 body.

You should give food rich in proteins and fats. Foods like full cream milk, egg, non vegetarian diet, ghee and butter in every diet, soyabean, paneer, should be given. In fruits banana, apple should be given.

Actually the main problem the parents face is that child does not take food other than milk. In this case we have to understand that it is is necessary for the child to develop taste of food. suppose if you go to some other country, then you will also not like the food of that country for some days, but after few days you will start eating the food and you will like it. Likewise, you should give 1 type of food for 3 to 4 days to child so that taste can develop. Give all type of food to child.

Some children require more attention than others. It is necessary to give more time while giving him feed.

You should also start multivitamin syrup like syrup day 1 5 ml once a day for 3 months. This will also helps in increasing appetite of child.

I hope this helps. Wishing your child good health. Take care.
