default
Posted on Mon, 30 May 2016
Question: Had unprotected vaginal sex with a friend, who reported no symptoms/issues. Got real paranoid, so got tested for Ch. and gon. 8 and then again 15 days post incident. Currently 10 weeks post incident. Also took 1000 grams azithromycin, followed by 500 grams 24 hours later. No discharge or pain with urination or ejaculation, but weird burning in rectal area and thighs.
Is this sti or something lime prostatitis? Should I get tested again.

Brief Answer:
no

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
There is no need to do STD test but yes, symptoms may indicate prostate issue such as hyperplasia or prostatitis that can occur after intercourses so you should do prostate ultrasound and check your PSA levels. Wish you good health. Regards
