Question : Hi, today I used a candle was melt that has essential oils. I bought it because it was a natural product and I have 3 young children and I am breastfeeding so I prefer to use natural things. Anyways I didn't realize that it had cinnamon bark oil in it and I read that nursing mothers shouldn't use it and it shouldn't be used around young children. I had it in my warmer for about 5 hours today. I will not be using this again but is there anything I should be worried about for me who is breastfeeding and my 16 month old?
Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but there is no need to worry as Cinnamon bark oil is not harmful to breast feeding mums or children when only inhaled . however , it is contraindicated to be ingested by children or breast feeding mums due to its irritant effect on the stomach. I hope I answered your question.
