Question : there are two generic ambien pills I have taken. the white round XXXXXXX 74 seems not to work as well as the white oblong zolpidem tartrate why?
If the controlled release ambien helps me stay asleep throughout the night because I often sleep through the night with generic zolpidem tartrate is it possible for you to send me some samples to try?

Zolpidem is used for initiation of sleep.

For long lasting effect throughout the night controlled release preparation can help.
Almost 50-60% of my patients get enough whole night sleep with controlled release zolpidem when they cant get with plain zolpidem.

However in many patients neither of the preparation will work when insomnia is severe. Benzodiazepine like clonazepam or lorazepam is more useful in that case.

I am sorry that we cannot send such samples. All mentioned drugs are prescription medicines and need to be taken after written prescription of a doctor.
