Question : If you are on spironolactane for excess fluid in ears, do you need to restrict potassium rich foods or just eat normal diet? What about sodium?have tinnitus too
Brief Answer:
Eat normal diets!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You just have to eat normal diets. There is no need in restricting potassium rich foods. However, you should avoid eating more of potassium rich fluids deliberately as that could lead to increased blood potassium levels. What i recommend is that you eat normally. If you have any further worries, then we may want to measure blood potassium levels and see where we are.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
