Question : I am a 74 year old male, my heart refraction was 30 in November 2017 , I have been taking Entresto (51 mg) ,my refraction has increased to 55. What effect,if any would drinking white wine on the effectiveness of the Entresto . Thank you, XXXX XXXXXXX

Hello,

I would explain that there are no interactions between white wine and Entresto.

Anyway, you should know that alcohol (which is contained in the wine)may lead to low blood pressure.

For this reason, I would not recommend taking more than a glass of wine per day.
