Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Taking an emergency contraceptive pill like Unwanted 72 can affect the menstrual cycle and cause irregular bleeding or spotting. The timing and duration of this bleeding can vary from person to person.
In your wife's case, it's possible that the spotting she experienced after her regular period could be related to the hormonal changes caused by the emergency contraceptive pill. This type of irregular bleeding is a common side effect of such medications.
Typically, these irregularities should resolve on their own within a few months.
Thanks.
