Question : I am a 65yo white male with a creatine level of 1.59 should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Mildly elevated creatinine
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You are concerned about your creatinine level being slightly elevated at 1.59. This is not dangerous but it maybe elevated due to your medication Lisinopril. Lisinopril will cause a slight elevation in creatinine levels. I would recommend that you discuss this with your doctor and possibly change the lisinopril to something that will not effect your kidneys.
