Question : I asked the question last night about could I be going through menopause as I have missed last months period and nothing this month so far although i had the signs of getting one but nothing
I had my last one in early October,but it was hardly worth having it
a couple of months ago I had a bladder infection which cleared in a few days.I also find Ive acquired a weak bladder with slight leaking problem from time to time

Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

You are right. You are going through perimenopausal changes.

This phase associated with irregular menses varying in duration.

Unfortunately there is associated weakening of pelvic floor muscles in some women which give rise to weak bladder.

Therefore I suggest you get uroflometry test done to check the level of urinary bladder dysfunction so that type of treatment can be decided.
