Is Delayed Menstruation A Sign Of Pregnancy?

It can be due to stopping of BC pills. needs investigations
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
As you have mentioned that you stopped taking birth control pills 9 weeks ago, there is a chance this might be the reason for the no periods.
The BC pills contains estrogen and progestrone which causes increase in hormonal levels of your body and thus causes imbalance in the homeostasis of hormones in body.
As you have already taken multiple pregnancy tests and all are negative I feel it more strongly that stopping of the pills have caused this problem.
In some females even no periods till 6 months have also been seen after stopping the pills.
I would like to suggest you to consult a gynecologist, you will need to get FSH, LH tests done to see whether they are suppressed. Also as you mentioned getting blood test for pregnancy will also be helpful just to be sure of it. But I feel that wont be the case.
Also USG abdomen will be very helpful as it will show any presence of fetus if at all present (which i think is not the case) and also the ovaries whether any other cause is there for amenorrhoea.
You might need medicine like clomiphene to start your ovulation and get your periods regular.
But it is very important to consult a doctor so as to conduct above said tests and put you up on proper treatment.
I hope I have answered your query well.
If you have any more queries kindly write back to me, will be happy to answer them.
Thank you
