Is Delayed Menstruation Normal After Taking I-pill?

Question: Hi doctor ...m 21..me n my bf spent time together and we just started the first stage of sex as I think my hymen is still not broken... but still taking preventive measure...I took I pill the same following day that we tried sex (13th may 2016) I had my periods on 5th may ... I was supposed to get my next periods on 1st XXXXXXX but due to taking I pill it shifted to 6th XXXXXXX .....I did not get my periods on 6th also.... and I have knee issues so I had started my homeo medicine from may 24th...
I even did my pregnancy test the result turned out negative... so I stopped taking homeo for a while its 14th of XXXXXXX and I haven't got my periods yet. .. I took regestrone tablet yestrday and this morning also.. will it help in getting periods back....and should I continue taking regestrone tablets if yes then till how many days
please help me.....

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

it is better to wait for another month without any medicines as it is just a delayed periods and not pregnancy.

This is delay is due to combined effect of stress, homeo medicines and ipill.

Anyway since you have started regesterone, continue it for another 5 days once in the morning and night. You will get periods within one week of stopping regesterone.

Is it neccesary to take medicn for 5days... and periods will start after 1 week only.... is it possible to take medicn for 3days because... if it is delayed too much ...next month I have flight on 17th july XXXXXXX 2 new york its a 16 hours continuous flight... so periods will start at that time... what should I do...

Ok thnkxx doc... I just have one more question .... I did my pregnancy test with urine test... it was written in d pcket to use morning urine but I tested it in the afternoon ... so does the results affect it....if not done in morning does the result change...
