Is Diarrhea a symptom of this
not a normal symptom
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Peptic ulcer disease is the term used to refer to ulcers of the stomach.
It is not normally associated with diarrhea. The most common symptoms would be burning or gnawing pain, chest discomfort, nausea, bloating, vomiting blood or blood in stool.
Acute diarrhea is most usually due to infection. Viral or bacterial infection are most common.
Treatment is normally symptomatic (Treat symptoms as they occur, not directed to cause itself).
This normally entails holding off solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms, fluids to replace what is loss, probiotics and meds to help decrease the stool frequency
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
