Question : I am very flexible, stretchy skin, bruise easily and was told by 2 rheumatologists that I may have Ehlers Danos syndrome hypermobility type and possibly vasular type. How can I be sure this is what I have? cardiac symptoms are: orthostatic hypotension, dizziness, tachycardia at times, feeling like heart skipping a beat, I'm sure there is more but thats all I can think of right now.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is often diagnosed after examining you. An easily stretchy skin, hyper-mobile and fragile joints and a family history are often enough. If you want, you may take a genetic test but it is often not necessary to make the diagnosis.
I hope this helps and addresses your query fully. I wish you well and thank you so much for using our services. Feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
