Question : hi,

this is my 2nd time pregnancy. due date is 28-april-2017. 1st was a c-section delivery.

my question is:
how many days before/after the due date I can go for c-section?

After 7th April

Hello Mam, thanks for trusting us with your health concerns
You can opt for cesarean anytime after 7th April as then you will complete 37 weeks of gestation
After 37weeks baby has matured enough so no risk of preterm problems
You should take a steroid shot for lung maturity of baby after discussing with your gynaecologist

Ideal is to not to wait after due date as you are desiring for normal delivery but still in case you want then a maximum of 7 days after due date we can wait for delivery.
