Brief Answer:
I need further details

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.
Electral Powder contains Glucose, so it should be given with precautions.

I would like to know a few more details to help you better:

1. What is her blood sugar status? If possible check it and tell me.
2. Since how long is she having diarrhea?
3. How many loose stools is she passing in a day?
4. Diarrhea is watery or semisolid?
5. Any blood in stools?
6. Is she vomiting?
7. Is she dehydrated? What is her Blood pressure, if you have a machine please check and tell me.

This is my best opinion for you based on available details. If you have any further query please ask me and revert with the answers of the questions preferably in point wise manner.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Don't give Electral.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
I would advise you in such condition not to give her Electral as her blood sugar is already not in control.

Instead of that make a solution of Salt, Lemon and water and give it to her as frequently as she can.
Also, give her a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day and a pro-biotic like Bifilac once a day.

If her loose stool persists, she would require antibiotic therapy.
As of current status, she should get relief on these medications.

Also, i would advise you to get back to your doctor for a better blood sugar control, as PP of 216 mg/dl is not acceptable.

If you have any further query please ask me.

Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Before prescribing an antibiotic, we need to know her kidney functions and examine her.
But in general, in such patients, i prefer to use a combination antibiotic like Oflox-OZ.
I would advise you to get direct consultation with a doctor, in case her condition worsens.
I wish her a speedy recovery.
If you have any further query please ask me, else you may close the discussion and rate it.
Stay Healthy.
