Brief Answer:
Suggestive of kidney dysfunction.

Detailed Answer:
Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for approaching healthcare magic for your query.

The given values of serum creatinine and blood urea are suggestive of kidney dysfunction (impaired function). For such cases detailed lab tests are done and dialysis is the usual treatment to control these high levels.

However, kindly provide the following the details:
1. What is the purpose of doing these tests?
2. For how long these levels are elevated?
3. Do you have any other medical illness like diabetes or hypertension?
4. Do you take any medication like pain killers?

Awaiting your reply so as to give proper advice.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Suggestive of kidney failure.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Welcome back.
Thanks for your reply, noted its contents.

I have gone through the attached lab results done on 23-12-2016 & 23-01-2017 in different labs and which show a progressive increase in both serum creatinine and blood urea that is indicative of kidney failure.

It could have been caused by hypertension and also with the chronic use of pain killers like Combiflam.

As your doctor has rightly advised you need to undergo periodic dialysis which removes waste products like creatinine and urea along with extra fluid from your blood since your kidneys can no longer do this.

I suggest you to consult a nephrologist for further evaluation and treatment.

You may also need to take the following:
1. Injection Erythropoietin to prevent anemia associated with kidney failure.
2. Vitamin D supplements and Phosphate binder to prevent weak bones and to lower the amount of phosphate and to protect the blood vessels damage by calcium deposits respectively.
3.To reduce the amount of protein intake in your diet as to reduce the workload on your kidneys by minimizing the waste products in your blood.
4. To reduce the intake of dietary salt.
5. To continue to take the BP lowering medications as before.

Hope the advice given above would be useful.
