Brief Answer:
yes. may affect if excess calorie intake per day

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the query and appreciate your concern.

Yes. Based on the requirements our body will convert glucose into required substrates by metabolism. So there is a balance in our body. More amount of glucose can convert into cholesterol through metabolism based on the requirements and excess availability. If the calorie intake and calories spent matches then there won't be any storage and hence no rise in cholesterol. If more intake then there will be more storage and hence may raise cholesterol.

So good nutritious diet with required calories intake with exercises will help in maintaining good health.

I hope this information helps you and answered your concern.
Feel free to ask for any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.

Wish you good health.
