Question : I have a lump in the middle area of my left arm. MRI shows enlarged thoracic aeorta, thoracic curvature , had a wreck two months ago. Totaled my car, what kind of doctor should I see? Should I be concerned ? Was told about a year ago I have a leaky valve, but not to worry about it.
Brief Answer:
General surgeon if necessary orthopedician
Detailed Answer:
Enlarged thoracic aorta could be incidental finding as lump is in left arm. What is the size of the aorta and where exactly it is located? If it is not aneurysmal and less than 40-45mm, it is not serious and you need to keep monitoring annually.
For the lump in the forearm, you need to see surgeon and if he suggests, also orthopedician.
